Alumni Allyship Series: After Atlanta, How Do Asian Americans Want Us to Show Up?

Tuesday, April 27, 2021
9am PT / 10am MT / 11am CT / 12pm ET

Fifty Harvard alumni Clubs and Shared Interest Groups from around the world, led by the Harvard Clubs of Ireland and Boston, are coming together to learn from H4A members how all alumni can stand with us against anti-Asian racism. Please join us to hear Professor Ju Yon Kim (right, above), Harvard's only tenured Asian American Studies professor, and Prof. Renee Tajima-Peña AB '80 (left), an Oscar-nominated filmmaker and Asian American Studies professor at UCLA, in a conversation moderated by Pulitzer-winning journalist and candidate for Harvard Overseer Sheryl WuDunn MBA '86. They will speak about the unknown history of Asians in this country, the roots of anti-Asian violence and the need for Harvard to invest in scholarship and teaching about our community to support and prepare our students and to help create foundations for social change.
